Purple is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support its drive towards world-class quality in its product. The Quality Control Inspector reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for executing Quality Control processes associated with purchased material or produced product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately use computer software; such as ETQ, L2L, Netsuite, Highjump, Sharepoint, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
Detail oriented and organized with good time management skills
Able to communicate well both verbally and in writing
Able to work well both alone and as part of a team
Able to handle a fast-paced schedule with time constraints
Able to work well with other departments
Locate all applicable L2L Checklists associated with Vendor Return items
Accurately document non-conforming product by completing a Non-Conforming Report
Properly use Netsuite to create return documentation, receive items, return items, close partially credited returns for AP
Properly use Highjump to fulfill the vendor return, transfer items to their correct locations
Ability to write basic reports that provide clear understanding
Provide support in other areas of the department as needed
Promote a strong culture of Quality at Purple
High school diploma required
Previous data entry or clerical experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
Good organizational skills
Accurate data entry skills
Good communication skills
Able to lift up to 50lb
