Northrop Grumman Manufacturing Project Employee (3-6-9-12 month Contract Only Role) in Clearfield, Utah

NGIS is currently looking for a Project Engineer (T03) to work in our Clearfield, UT location . This is a project position. Estimated length of this project is three months.
Support the implementation of a major redesign to approximately 30% of the composite parts produced for the A350 commercial aircraft parts produced at NGIS in Clearfield, UT. Develop plans for receipt and processing of part drawings, tooling design and procurement, limited facility upgrades, development of manufacturing machine software, first part production and inspection. Manage company internal teams and suppliers to ensure compliance to the schedules and coordinate between functional teams and suppliers to verify project status. Provide regular reports of progress to company management and assist in coordination and reporting to various customers.

Bachelors or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Materials Science
Experience; target 10-15 years of Applicable Engineering experience
Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills, strong oral, and written communications skills
Demonstrated organization and multitasking skills
Demonstrated project planning, scheduling and management
Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
Shop floor work instruction and authoring experience required
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Experience with lean principles such as the Toyota Production System
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal direction in a changing environment.
