The Boeing Company Systems Engineer (Sys Integr, Ver & Validation) in Hill Air Force Base, Utah
The F-22 Ogden Test Enterprise (OTE) is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer (Sys Integr, Ver & Validation ) candidate for Test Execution and associated activities related to Test Programs and Lab Operations. The OTE is a System Integration Lab that conducts Integration and Certification of the F-22 Operational Flight Program (OFP). There are two laboratories capable of working independently or connected to execute the required activities associated with program requirements. This facility is at Hill AFB, located in Ogden, Utah .
Position is for an Avionics Test Engineer. Candidate needs to be familiar with Aircraft Avionics Systems such as Comm Nav, Data Links, Weapons, Radar, Electronic Warfare. Ability to work in a Lab environment utilizing simulations, stimulations, analysis tools, and general purpose test equipment to define, create, and execute various scenarios with the objective to integrate and verify aircraft avionics functionality and capabilities.
Candidate will be familiar with the Test Engineering lifecycle: requirements, test design, test documentation/reporting and test execution. Candidate will be required to work in a team environment to execute. Strong procedure and test development, test tools (i.e simulations) and analytical skills (data analysis) will ensure success. Candidate can expect to support test execution activities as well as support activities required to prepare lab for test execution activities. Candidate will have good communication and collaboration skills as these activities will require close coordination with external organizations including Air Force personnel, Air Force F-22 Customer, and F-22 Team Companies.
The F-22 program operates in a SAFe/AGILE environment, so familiarization with SAFE/AGILE is desirable.
Candidate must have an Active Secret DOD Clearance which has been updated within the past 5 years. This position will require an F-22 clearance once assigned to the program. US Citizen's Only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate of Science Degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics or computer science
This position requires an active < Secret > U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) For which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship .
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Do you have experience in support of a US military customer?
Do you have experience with Test Program design, test procedure development, and test execution?
Do you have experience with Software Development Processes?
Do you have experience with A/C Systems and Subsystems?
Do you have experience coordinating/leading a schedule driven task?
Knowledge of integration, verification and certification processes.
Knowledge of Engineering Analysis.
This is a SPEEA Supported Position
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility
Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer.
