Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a GBSD - Command and Launch Test Manager (Mgr. Test Engineering 2) for the C&L Integration Assembly Test & Checkout (IATC) team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.
Reports to the Command & Launch (C&L) Integration Assembly Test & Checkout (IATC) Director and leads assigned portions of the segment level test team.
Responsible for providing C&L IATC test leadership, management, and daily oversight to assigned project teams on the C&L IATC Team.
Provides leadership and guidance to assigned C&L IATC Team project leads and staff, including to ensure compliance with all contractual, program, and corporate operational requirements.
Conducts themselves in a timely, effective, and caring/respectful manner to build the C&L IATC Team.
Staff a team.
Build a culture that empowers and motivates individual performance, and establishes functional shared accountability with the program areas
Set employee performance goals and provide performance feedback.
Support the annual salary review process
Mentor and develop the next generation of technical and project leadership
Occasionally support proposal activities
Roles and Responsibilities:
Leads and evaluates project area operational and tactical planning and execution activities along with daily team work assignments, financial support analyses, and other mission-driven imperatives to support C&L IATC Team, consistent with company agile principles.
Assures analysis of project area performance in support of C&L IATC overall contract performance to ensure proper prioritization and use of resources.
Supports the C&L IATC Team relationships with internal and external POCs and stakeholders.
Evaluates effectiveness of project area daily actions and systems; troubleshoots any potential and/or existing problems; works with appropriate individuals to put solutions into action.
Employs and maintains effective, efficient information systems to plan, schedule, track and monitor C&L IATC Team operations.
Effective support to C&L IATC Team talking points/presentations for leadership meetings and supporting application of innovative strategies to optimize success and the understanding of critical training/task/site information.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
BS Degree in STEM discipline and 10 or more years of experience in systems engineering and/or other test disciplines.
US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years)
Demonstrated experience in test management/planning and project management
Prior experience as Control Account Manager for large test or development programs.
Prior work experience relevant to program or project management, campaign execution, organizational collaboration, and communication across organizations.
US Citizenship with an Active Top Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years)
Demonstrated ability to lead large and diverse teams, drive a culture of performance and inclusion, foster development and enable collaboration across engineering and operational disciplines contracting.
Proven ability to successfully plan, implement, and manage projects.
Professional management experience with background in Federal and/or Defense
Familiarity with Quality Management, and other associated business administration concepts, procedures, and practices.
