Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Logistics Engineer for the Product Support organization. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
Job Description:
The candidate will perform logistics related analysis and maintenance planning of the GBSD platform. The candidate will influence system design to enhance supportability and utilize engineering data from various sources to determine logistics requirements.
The successful candidate must:
Possess the ability to apply logistics engineering principles and complete assignments to support team schedules.
Have excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills, be self-motivated, understand and exhibit a strong team work ethic and approach.
Work closely with other IPT's (Integrated Product Teams), Design Engineering IPT's, Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, and Technical Publication Writing/Editing teams.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
2 years of relatable work experience
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
U.S. citizen and ability to obtain a security clearance
Aerospace / Military ICBM maintenance experience
Preferred Qualification:
Experience with 3D design / 2D drawing CAD system
Experience with SQL databases
Experience with Teamcenter
Familiarity with MIL-HDBK 1388-2B, GEIA-0007, and S1000D
Knowledge in design of mechanical and electrical ICBM subsystems
Knowledge in the development of SE design solutions
Current DoD Secret clearance
