Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Technical Writer / Principal Technical Writer - Nuclear Surety. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division.

What You'll Get To Do:

· Coordinate the development of nuclear certification artifacts across multiple functional areas

· Responsible for final reviews of nuclear certification artifacts for style, design, layout, editorial aspects, and security classification markings.

· Coordinate and develop briefing material to support internal and external engagements

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:

Job Qualifications:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related experience. An additional 2 years of related technical experience and Associate's Degree may be substituted in lieu of degree.

· Active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation close date within the past 6 years

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a technical writer

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

For Principal:

· Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience. An additional 3 years of related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

· Active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation close date within the past 6 years

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a technical writer

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

· Active DoD TS clearance with a background investigation close date within the past 6 years

· Experience working with Nuclear Surety documentation (e.g. AFI 63-125, AFMAN 91-118/91-119/31-108, DODM 5210.41, AFI 91-107)

· Experience with derivative classification

· Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
