Maverik Architectural Designer-Coordinator in Salt Lake City, Utah


$50,000-$60,000/ yr DOE

The Architectural Designer/Coordinator is involved in all phases of architectural work, including planning and designing of convenience store and gas stations. The Architectural Designer/Coordinator is involved in new building designs, remodels, extensions and alterations of existing sites. The objective is to match the Company’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional, economical and aesthetically pleasing stores.

What You’ll do as an Architectural Designer/Coordinator:

  • Production of detailed construction documents for new and existing Maverik C-store locations

  • Assist in the maintenance of Maverik’s prototype and design standards

  • Work with Entitlements to prepare preliminary design packages

  • Provide due diligence support regarding development of new and altering existing Maverik C-Store locations

  • Conduct site visits to check on project status and provide in-field support as necessary

  • Work closely with other Maverik “Build Team” members (real estate, entitlements and construction professionals)

  • Apply knowledge of building codes and ADA guidelines while developing store space plans.

  • Develop and draft design solutions from concept design, to schematic and final design

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

You’ll be a Great Fit if You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field

  • 3+ years’ drawing production experience

  • Retail design experience

  • Extensive Autodesk Revit experience

  • Experience in MS Office Suite products

  • Solid communication and project management skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent team collaboration skills

  • Exceptional customer service skills
