WSP is currently initiating a search for a Bridge Engineer with our Salt Lake City, Utah office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist more experienced engineers in broader engineering activities, assuming more responsibility as experience increases

  • Prepare basic sketches and performs calculations in support of broader engineer activities

  • Gather and record information to be used for writing specifications

  • Assist with bridge inspection field and office work

  • Prepare technical studies and reports

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s of Science (MS) Degree from an accredited college/university in Civil Engineering with a focus in structural engineering.

At least 0-1 years relevant engineering experience

Working knowledge of engineering design and practices, relevant state of the art computer program experience is required

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • E.I.T. Certification

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
