SummaryWe are looking for a strong manufacturing/industrial/electro-mechanical engineering student that has a strong hands-on skill set with a broad range of manufacturing processes, equipment, assembly methods, tooling, lean production, inventory management, and documentation practices. You will expand your hands-on experience with multiple manufacturing and assembly methods. You will have exposure to advance medical CT equipment and the manufacturing and design challenges associated with high g-forces and managing thermal loads in electro-mechanical systems. You will be working with a production line building medical CT imaging components. You will be joining a diverse engineering and production groups that develops and integrates a high voltage imaging chain for major and developing OEM CT partners and has a lot of fun doing it. Job DescriptionSkill Requirements: * Moderate hands-on experience with common manufacturing processes and assembly methods (machining, forming, bending, casting, molding, fastening methods, welding, brazing, etc.)* Working knowledge of metals (steels, copper, refractory), ceramics, and polymers* Moderate hands on experience in functional testing and troubleshooting thermo-mechanical and electro-mechanical devices (heat exchangers, mechanical assemblies, electro-magnetic components, x-ray generators, etc.)* Familiar with test equipment, data collection methods, lean manufacturing principles and methods* Experience working with electro-mechanical systems - preferably x-ray or CT equipment* Highly motivated and self-driven* Be awesome - we need a student who can learn quickly, contribute immediately, and help us complete key tests to drive products to market SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge * Varies based on job. Required Certifications and Training * Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility. Experience Level with Business Tools * Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. LEVEL DESCRIPTION Skill * As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways. Job Complexity * Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications or work and makes recommendations for solutions. Supervision * Determines methods and procedures reviewed by others on new assignments.
