Embark on a future with an international pharmaceuticals company, contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive through the course of this 14-week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program.
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Length: 14 weeks (May 10th through August 13th)
Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week for 14 weeks summer 2021
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• During the 14 week program, you will gain in-depth insights into the (Manufacturing, Science & Technology [MS&T]) department.
• Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects.
• You will also play an important role in the development of concepts and initiatives within the (MS&T) business unit.
o Complies with all GMP and safety requirements, SOP’s and Company policies and procedures.
o Material Physical Characterization (Particle Size Analysis and Taped Density)
o JMP Statistical Software – Process Capability
o Data Collection and Evaluate Abnormal Trends
o Analyzes data to ascertain if it meets related protocol acceptance criteria; writes deviation reports as required upon failures to meet protocol acceptance criteria, as applicable
o Assists with on-site transfer projects and product scale-up activities
o Assists in conducting efficiency studies and in the identification of process improvement opportunities
o Participates in project coordination activities.
o Performs related duties as assigned
• Currently enrolled in undergraduate/graduate program of Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Statistics or related degree program.
• Fundamental understanding of pharmaceuticals preferred
