Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. Ensures compliance to in-house and-or external specifications, regulations, and standards, such as QSR, GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.Job DescriptionSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONSRequired Certifications and Training* Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.Experience Level with Business Tools* Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.LEVEL DESCRIPTIONKnowledge* Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.* Thorough knowledge of Global Regulatory and Quality standards used in the manufacturing of complex electro-mechanical medical devices.Job Complexity* Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in solving complex business problems.Interaction* Strong networking skills needed with key contacts both inside and outside the organization.Supervision* Determines methods and procedures reviewed by others on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).Typical Education and Experience* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 8 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 6 years of related experience.* Auditing experience desirable.* CQE, CRE, CQA certifications desirable.ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSEnvironment and Physical Demands* As described in the job postingAbility to Travel* Travel may be required.
