Moog Medical Devices Group designs, manufactures, and distributes industry-leading enteral feeding and infusion pumps. Through investment in research .and.amp; development and relying on our vast expertise, we design and develop advanced infusion systems that improve medication safety, optimize application performance and reduce medical expenses.Core Responsibilities: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position will perform engineering design and testing activities related to pump design for medical applications.Participate in the development projects for assigned product line - Primary focus will be on design of pump mechanisms.Define system, product and subsystem architecture, requirements and designDesign, develop, test and document solutions for mechanical engineering subsystemsDesign fixtures used to manufacture-test medical devicesDocument design by creating drawings, specifications, technical reports, etc.Create Device Instructions for manufacturing of productsPrepare Engineering Change OrdersLead system and product hazard analysis and risk create or modify documentation as neededVerify correctness of documentation for other engineersCreate Validation and Verification engineering test plans, protocols, and reportsCreate development mockups, test tools, test scripts, etc.Perform or direct experimentation and testing to support product developmentQualifications:B.S. degree in ME or relatedExperience in Mechanical pump design related to Medical applicationsProficiency in Solid Works requiredMust have experience designing for assembly and moldabilityProficiency in Solid Works requiredProficient in FEA analysis and experience in Medical device pump design preferredMoog is a performance culture that empowers people to achieve great things.
