Parsons Corporation Civil Engineering Design Manager in South Jordan, Utah

Our Road/Highway teams have set the standard across North America for the past 20 years, we've completed more than 120 alternative project delivery projects, with a combined constructed value of more than $42 billion, an astounding record that is unmatched in the industry.

We are looking for a strong leader to join our team; one who inspires loyalty and commitment and understands how to design and deliver leading-edge DOT projects in Utah and Arizona. This position reports to the VP of the region and requires a solid track record of managing Road & HWY design-build projects along with familiarity with either Utah or Arizona DOT standards. This position can be based in either our Salt Lake City Utah office or in our Tempe Arizona office, with travel expected.


4-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical/business field from an accredited institution.

10+ years of related engineering design and management experience on large complex road and highway projects including design-bid-build and alternative delivery projects/pursuits.

Must have considerable DOT and municipal agency experience delivering federal-aid roadway/bridge projects.

Proficient in Microstation and InRoads SS2 and/or SS4. Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software, Bluebeam or Adobe, and ProjectWise.
